Homeowners can benefit from rebates and incentives on energy efficient products and tap into expert guidance. Our comprehensive home energy assessments can help you better understand your energy behaviors. Professional energy advisers identify improvement areas and suggest tailored solutions to enhance your energy use patterns. These assessments are the first step toward creating a more sustainable and cost-effective living space without breaking the bank.
Business owners also have practical choices. Options like direct installation of high-efficiency equipment or whole-building retrofits enable businesses to reduce energy use, which translates to cost savings.
Saving you money – it’s personal
Since 2021, about 300,000 New Jersey residential customers actively participated in our energy efficiency programs’ expecting a combined $370 million in annual energy bill savings. Yes, you read that right – that’s certainly no small change! Making a commitment to energy efficiency is not only environmentally conscious but also financially rewarding. This includes recycling over 19,000 appliances, distributing more than 11 million high-efficiency LED bulbs* and completing more than 54,000 home energy assessments**. But it’s more than numbers, these energy efficiency programs are also set to save nearly 1.7 million megawatt hours of electricity annually, which is enough to power more than 240,000 New Jersey homes for a year2.
While our Direct Install program benefits small businesses by uncovering hidden energy savings, that can potentially help reduce facility energy costs by as much as 30%.
