Celebrating 10th annual Neighborhood Partners Program with new $1.2 million grant milestone

We’ve got multiple reasons to celebrate! As we mark our PSEG Foundation’s 10-year anniversary of the Neighborhood Partners Program (NPP), we are excited to announce we are increasing the NPP funding to $1.2 million, allowing for greater impact and greater reach to organizations striving to do good.

Communities are at the heart of everything we do. Founded in 2014, the NPP was established to provide grant funds for organizations demonstrating effectiveness and alignment with our three strategic pillars: environmental sustainability, social justice, and equity and economic empowerment.

At the PSEG Foundation, our mission is to realize a world of compassion and generosity. As the Neighborhood Partners Program celebrates a decade of impact, it stands as a testament to the dedication and passion of our partners,” said Calvin Ledford Jr., President of the PSEG Foundation. “Thanks to your support, we’re advancing toward a future where all communities have access to financial stability and long-term opportunities. Together, we’re nurturing the environment for generations to come. If you share our vision and seek to make a difference, we invite you to join us and apply.”

We will be accepting applications until June 30 for all eligible 501(c)(3) organizations. Learn more about the requirements and apply at pseg.com/NeighborhoodPartnersProgram.

“The longstanding support HiTOPS has received from the PSEG Foundation has had a significant impact on our ability to provide essential education, social support and resources to LGBTQ+ youth and their parents,” said Lisa Shelby, executive director.“These services and programs have a hugely positive impact on the physical, social and emotional health of young people. We are so appreciative of the PSEG Foundation for helping to ensure that young people and their families have the resources, information and support we all need to live our best lives.”

The Great Swamp Watershed Association

“We are grateful for the over 20 years of support the Great Swamp Watershed Association has received from the PSEG Foundation. The Newark Community Street Team

“The Newark Community Street Team reduces violence in many ways, one of which is bringing healing and beauty to the neighborhood we serve,” said Aqeela Sherrills, co-founder and board chair. “We have just finished construction on our Trauma Recovery Center and the $11,000 we received from the Neighborhood Partners Program since 2011 is supporting the development of a Healing Garden on the grounds. We appreciate the support.”
