Evaluate your home’s energy efficiency
Creating a full picture of your home’s energy usage is a smart way to see where you can start making energy efficiency improvements. Our Whole Home Energy Assessment can do just that by identifying ways to reduce the amount of energy your home uses and protect your home from common winter problems.
A certified PSE&G energy efficiency adviser will complete a detailed walkthrough of your home to provide a personalized evaluation of your energy use. You can also receive no-cost installation of certain energy-saving products, including LED light bulbs, a smart thermostat and smart power strips as part of your assessment.
Additionally, you’ll receive a customized report with even more measures you can take to reduce energy use, along with recommendations for home upgrades that can improve overall comfort, as well as health and safety in the home. These improvements – such as sealing small cracks and gaps, adding weather stripping around doors and windows and better insulating attics and basements – can make a noticeable difference in keeping the cold winter air out of your home.

Gisselle learned that her water heater was approaching 10 years old and that she could benefit from upgrading to a newer, more energy-efficient model.
