Work the blinds: Open the shades on chilly days to let natural sunlight warm your home. On warm days, closing blinds, shades and draperies keeps out the sun’s rays and can help you dramatically lower the temperature in your home.
Seal up leaks: Use weather stripping or caulk to seal up cracks and prevent inside air from escaping.
